We have seen the Avenue of the Giants and part of the Redwood National Forest, from Garberville to Crescent City. I can give you measurements, age and pictures of these great Giants but nothing will do them justice. You just can't imagime how huge these trees are. Standing in their presents is like an ant standing at our feet.
This is the Smith Rive .... just outside Crescent City, CA off Hwy 199 Smith River Rec. Area
The water is clear deep and I'm sure very cold.
